Boaz Middle School serves more than 500 students in grades six through eight. The school has a staff of regular classroom teachers, learning specialists and instructional assistants. Its curriculum includes English, computer applications, language arts, health and physical education, science, social studies and math. The school has a gymnasium, library and cafeteria. It offers a range of general academic and gifted education programs. The school also conducts music and Spanish classes. In addition, Boaz Middle School provides a variety of extracurricular activities, including art, dance, talent shows, choir and band. Its athletic division offers various sports activities, such as basketball, softball, football, and track and field. Located in Boaz, Ala., the school is a part of Boaz City Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools and serves more than 2,000 students.
