- We have two options: boarding your horse in the pasture with a herd of 25 horses, or renting a stall (stalls at the upper barn are 12 feet x 24 feet) and either turn your horse out in a small turnout or turning your horse out into the herd. We do keep one to two stalls available for day-rental for strictly pasture horses that for some reason have to be kept in a stall short term. Most boarders rent a stall so they can keep their horse in during nasty weather but have them in pasture the majority of the time. We feed all stall horses morning and night, however, the boarder pays for the food their horse eats (~$100/month). The boarder is responsible for cleaning their stall daily or every other day, however, we have expert horse care on hand if you need your stall cleaned or your horse taken care of when you are gone for a minimum fee.

Horse boarding stable near Blue Lake, California in Humboldt County. We have stalls, small turnouts, pasture, two outside sand arenas, round pen, and beautiful trails. We are a family owned and operated business that has been operating since 1978. We are horse owners ourselves and love our horses and want the best quality of life for them, and therefore strive for the best quality of life for all horses that share our home. We have learned with our own horses that great quality food and allowing a horse to move makes for long lived healthy horses, so all stall horses that cannot be in the herd have access to small turnout.
