Since 1997, the doctors and staff of the Compassion Vet Clinic have been dedicated as a team to the prevention of disease and preservation of the age old human-animal bond with empathy, compassion and respect. The goals of the Compassion Vet Clinic have always been to heal our patients and advance the science of Veterinary Medicine. Through the principle of group practice, we are able to quickly focus our knowledge and expertise where the need is most urgent. Dr Murarka also serves at the Pennsylvania Society for the Preventive of Cruelty to Animal, as Animal Health Director Dr Murarka saw a need to teach children respect for animals. He believes that, children?s attitudes toward animals reflect their attitudes toward people. We welcome new clients and are available to answer all your inquiries at our facility. WHAT WE DO We are a full-service animal hospital with an in-house surgical suite for appointed and emergency surgeries, and a complete pharmacy. Our clinic is designed to save you time and make your visit more convenient. Our doctors perform in-house surgery, aided by state-of-the-art equipment and technology, to ensure your animal the safest and best available care. Our surgeries include soft tissue, orthopedic and dental procedures. In addition, we utilize the services of a large national veterinary diagnostic laboratory and consultation service. A complete exam includes: Medical History Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Examination Temperature, Pulse and Respiration Cardiopulmonary (Hearts and Lungs) Analysis Dental Exam Dermatological (skin) Exam Testing for Parasites Nutritional Counseling After the initial comprehensive examination, we review your pets medical record for necessary vaccinations, flea and heartworm preventive medications and other medical demands that need attention.
