- We primarily focus on jobs in Northwest North Carolina, but are more than willing to travel anywhere in the state. Our primary customer base is in the Blowing Rock area, but extends into Boone, Banner Elk and surrounding areas.
General Info
Robin and Dennis Coffey are no strangers to carpentry, masonry, and all things in between. Robin has been building homes and doing odd-jobs for 40+ years. His son, Dennis, started helping out at age 14 and began building full-time at 18. So between the two of them, they have nearly 60 years of construction experience under their "tool belts." Robin and Dennis also offer custom-made home accents and furnishings. Robin creates beautiful home decor using rustic mountain laurel, poplar bark and other "home grown ingredients." Dennis, on the other hand, crafts his items out of steel. He fabricates fireplace screens and sets, bathroom accessories, and more. With help and encouragement from their incredible customer base, Robin and Dennis decided to start their own construction company. Dennis then obtained his Residential Contractor's License from the State of North Carolina and R & D Construction was born.
