Established in 1970, Blountstown Elementary School is a Pre-K-5th title I school serving the rural Calhoun County in the Northwest Florida. Based in Blountstown, Fla., the instructional staff of the school consists of classroom teachers, title I teachers, media specialist, physical education teachers and guidance counselor, among others. Its business partners include Blountstown Drug, Frank Guilford Accounting, Golden's Pharmacy, Harveys, Oglesby, Piggly Wiggly and Sisters and Sisters Inc. The children participate in activities such as volleyball, basketball, four-square and soccer. Blountstown Elementary School's faculty includes four nationally board certified teachers who mentor and provide support to the faculty and students.
