      The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) is a not-for-profit professional organization. Our referral service can connect you to a CPA. Since 1904, we have offered services and professional development for CPAs and other accounting professionals. We currently have more than 8,500 membersworking in public accounting, education, government and industry.CPAs are business and financial strategists who work with individuals and businesses to help chart their paths. Members are credentialed by the state after passing a rigorous exam as well as meeting specific work and education experience requirements. CPAs are required to follow a strict code of ethics and perform within the high standards of the profession; active CPAs meet continuing education requirements every three years to keep up with new rules and regulations in the financial, accounting and business world.
