Summit Elementary School offers classes from grades kindergarten through six. The school s curriculum includes reading and writing, language arts, foreign language, math, science and social studies. Teachers use a variety of resources, such as textbooks, trade books, leveled texts, technology and computer software to enhance the school s curriculum. It also offers music, physical education, technology, foreign languages and special education programs. The school has a parent-teacher association that participates in curriculum and student development activities. Located in Bloomington, Ind., the school is a part of the Monroe County Com School Corporation.
