I have had the special pleasure of taking my dogs to be cared for as boarders and at doggy daycare to this wonderful, caring facility. Now we are just down to one little buddy sharing his life with his friends here. He loves coming and waits at the door to trip me if I do not pick up his leash and take him. He enjoys himself and I feel good about going to work and leaving him in their capable hands. I also like the fact that they are strict about the rules so that my guy does not "catch" anything when he is in their care. He comes home tired and happy and I am grateful for the attention that he gets when he is there.

Owner and daughter (primarily daughter) were rude and unprofessional when I picked up my dogs. I really wanted to like this place given all the positive reviews and the really cheap price, but was disappointed that the owner was confrontational with me as soon as I stepped in the door because I didn't tell her that my dog occasionally chews things. He chewed a mat that he normally boards with at our veterinarian and has never chewed before, and for some reason, that ticked her off. Needless to say, I'll pay extra to not be treated like I'm a bad dog owner and to not feel threatened by the employees.

I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. The owners are true animal lovers and they do an outstanding job running this business. The facility is always clean, the pets are extremely well cared for, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I love #1 Petcare and would recommend it to anyone!

In all of Bloomington-Normal I haven't found anywhere that matches the level of care #1 Pet Care provides! Their rates are crazy reasonable and the owner is very passionate about dogs! Instead of just putting them outside to play with each other like most daycare places do, the dogs are brushed, played with and cared for. I recommend this place heartily if you're looking for quality care for your pet!!
