- Dental ExaminationAt every six-month cleaning we provide an oral exam. Your oral health can change drastically over a six-month period, and our office emphasizes detecting all cavities and soft tissue lesions in their early stages. We provide oral hard and soft tissue cancer screening at no additional charge. Oral cancer is an aggressive form of cancer and early diagnosis is key for a good prognosis.

- Teeth CleaningThe office of Dr. Burgessprovides general and cosmetic dental care for the entire family. These services include veneers, lumineers, teeth whitening, cleaning and exams, xrays, restorative care and sealants.
- Fluoride TreatmentOur hygienists provide fluoride treatments to children and adults at high risk of cavities. Fluoride sticks to teeth and prevents cavities on the smooth surfaces of the teeth. These areas are at high risk for cavities in children who lack the dexterity needed for proper brushing. An example of a high-risk adult is a person who has undergone radiation therapy, causing decreased salivary flow. Fluoride treaments can be in the form of fluoride "painted on" the teeth, available in a variety of flavors, or a prescription toothpaste.
- Dental SealantsOur office is a family practice. We provide care for ages 3 and older. We enjoy working with your children from a young age to help them avoid fillings and make them comfortable at our office. We take our time introducing dentistry to your child and work at the speed they are comfortable with. We offer cleanings, x-rays, exams, fluoride sealants, and all fillings.
- Fillings
- VeneersOVeneers are a thin layer of porcelain cemented to the visible surfaces of your front teeth. They are some of the most rewarding cases because of the significant visible change they produce. Veneers are one of the quickest ways you can create a beautiful smile. For good esthetics and overall oral health a portion of your tooth is permenantly removed to make room for the porcelain veneer.
- CrownsAll Porcelain Crowns are a porcelain cap that covers the entire surface of the crown of the front or back teeth. They require removal of a thin layer of the entire crown of the tooth.
- Bridges
- Dental BondingComposite bonding uses a tooth colored filling material to cover or fix discolored, fractured or decaying areas in the front teeth. Composite bonding requires minimal tooth material removal and is less invasive than other treatment options. Often composite bonding does not have the longevity that all porcelain crowns have for large fillings and fractures in the front teeth.
- Restorative Dentistry
- Root Canal TreatmentRoot canals are performed when the living tissue in the tooth has undergone trauma and is dead or dying. This trauma can be from a large cavity, bacteria entering the living tissue in the tooth, a cracked tooth, or physical trauma. Pain and swelling are often associated with a tooth that is dead or dying and has an infection. A root canal is the only treatment that allows the patient to keep the tooth; the other treatment option is to have the tooth extracted. A root canal consists of removing the blood vessels and nerves inside of the tooth, filling the tooth with a new core material, then sealing the tooth. Success rates for root canal treated teeth average about 80%.
- Deep CleaningPatients that have not had a cleaning in a long time face the possiblity of periodontal disease. If there is bone loss due to high levels of calculus (tarter) below the gum level our dentists will perform an evaluation of the damage and discuss deep cleaning options to restore maximum oral health.
- DenturesDentures are removable prosthetic teeth that replace missing teeth and restore your smile. Complete dentures replace all of your missing teeth so you are able to eat and speak more naturally than you could without teeth.
