General Info

The Water Department designs and supervises the construction of new and replacement water mains. It provides repair and preventative maintenance services. The department maintains a log facility, Davis Lodge, which is available on rent to the general public for weddings, receptions, reunions, graduation parties and business meetings. The lodge features a central meeting room that can accommodate up to 175 people. It additionally has a kitchen facility with a commercial refrigerator, stove and countertop space. The lodge provides folding tables and chairs. Davis Lodge s other amenities include a patio, barbecue grill and screened rooms. The Water Department is governed by the City of Bloomington in Illinois, which also maintains engineering, finance, fire, police, public works, and parks and recreation departments.
