General Info

Shawna Poltricitsky completed her bachelor's degree in Biology at Stockton University. She later followed her passion and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at Rutgers University. At Rutgers, Shawna gained clinical experience in orthopedic, neurological, and cardiothoracic in inpatient and outpatient settings. She has also had the pleasure to work with war veterans through the VA, as well as children with severe mental and physical disabilities. Shawna attributes her love for human movement through the 13 years spent practicing Tae Kwon Do and MMA, 4 years competing in fencing, and 10 years practicing yoga. Through each of these sports, she uses her experiences to construct individualized treatment plans based on her patient's condition and goals. Shawna is currently completing a series of courses through University of St. Augustine in order to continue to refine her manual therapy skills. She is also looking to pursue her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification. She is proud to be part of the Physical Therapy profession and is dedicated to provide the highest quality of evidence-based care.
