• Mergers and Acquisitions
  Michael J. Eizelman concentrates his practice concentrates in the areas of business law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities regulation. Mr. Eizelman was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 27, 1952. He was admitted to the bar in Michigan in 1978 and in the District of Columbia in 1982. He received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University (B.A., 1974), his law degree from Detroit College of Law (now known as the Law College at Michigan State University) (J.D., 1978), and his Masters of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University Law School (L.L.M., 1982). Mr. Eizelman was a Note and Comment Editor for the Detroit College of Law Review, and authored the Note, "License Revocation and Procedural Due Process." He was a Staff Attorney for the Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Investment Management from 1979 to 1980. He was a Senior Staff Attorney for the Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Corporation Finance in 1980 and 1981.

  Dean J. Gould's practice includes a sophisticated law practice and serving as a mediator and arbitrator in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Gould focuses on all aspects of real estate and general business law, including sales, acquisitions, development, financing, land use, condominium, foreclosures, work-outs, formation of investment partnerships and other entities and related transactions. Mr. Gould was admitted to the bar in Michigan in 1979 and in Nevada in 2001 and currently practices in both Michigan and Nevada. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (A.B., with High Distinction, 1976) and his law degree from Wayne State University Law School (J.D.

  Eric A. Bean focuses his practice in the areas of real estate law and finance, manufactured housing and commercial litigation. Mr. Bean was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 24, 1968. Mr. Bean was admitted to the bar in Michigan in 1993. He received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1990, and his law degree from the University of Detroit Law School in 1993.

  Scott I. Mirkes concentrates his practice in the areas of condominium law and real estate law. Mr. Mirkes was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 7, 1976. He was admitted to the bar in Michigan in 2003. He received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University (B.S., Magna Cum Laude, 1998), his master’s degree from Wayne State University (M.B.A., with honors, 2001) and his law degree from Wayne State University (J.D., Cum Laude, 2003). He is a Member of the Oakland County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

  Lawrence S. Jackier concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, mergers and acquisitions, entertainment and sports, corporate finance, real estate, and estate planning. Mr. Jackier was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 24, 1942. He was admitted to the bar in Michigan in 1968. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (A.B., 1964) and his law degree from Yale University Law School (J.D., 1967). Mr. Jackier was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Sigma Alpha. Mr. Jackier worked as a law clerk from 1967 to 1968 for the Honorable Caleb M. Wright, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court in Wilmington, Delaware. Currently, Mr. Jackier serves as President of the Jewish Welfare Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, and sits on the board of trustees of several local, national and international charitable organizations.

  Wayne Law Review. Mr. Gould is a member of the Adjunct Faculty of the University of Michigan Law School, where he teaches a course on Real Estate Finance law. Mr. Gould was appointed in 2009 by the Supreme Court of Nevada to serve as a foreclosure mediator under Nevada's new foreclosure mediation law. Mr. Gould has also been appointed in 2010 by the Nevada Supreme Court as an arbitrator for the Eighth Judicial District Court (Clark County) Court-Annexed Arbitration Program. Mr. Gould has completed more than sixty (60) hours of mediation training, including completing the “Litigating the Mediated Case” course at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution through the Pepperdine University School of Law. Mr. Gould is a member of the Real Property Sections of the State Bar of Michigan and the State Bar of Nevada, and is a member of the ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Section of the State Bar of Nevada. Mr. Gould is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was named a Michigan Super Lawyer in 2008, 2009 & 2010, as well as a Super Lawyer – Corporate Counsel Edition (Real Estate) in 2009. Mr. Gould is fluent in Spanish, having lived in Bolivia and Mexico.
