New Page 1Our Mission: The Washington County Road Department is dedicated to maintain and service the County's Public Roads and Bridges to ensure the free flow of traffic and to protect the health & safety of the citizens traveling on these roads and bridges during all types of weather conditions.While Washington County consists primarily of smaller rural communities and townships, it is also located approximately 10 miles north of Metropolitan Omaha. Consequently, the roads of Washington County serve the needs for a variety of travelers. With this in mind, we hope that this site will help better inform you about who we are and projects that we are currently working on.
