The first room we had be assigned to (room #20) was supposed to be a non smoking room. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, there were rat droppings behind the toilet, faulty electrical work, and a burned AC unit (literally....it was melted). We asked to switch to a safer room on the bottom floor, so they assigned us to room #3. That room had shoddy electrical work (loose electrical sockets and plugs), some sort of dirty splatter on the wall on the right side of the bed that had never been cleaned, beer bottle caps and candy leftover in the room (most of it strewn under the night stands), a sock I'm assuming was left from a previous guest in the bathroom under the sink where there was dust and dirt everywhere. There was also more dust, dirt, and cobwebs all around the room where the carpet meets the floor, the TV, microwave, and shelving, not to mention there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The door leading to the adjoining room was just styrofoam with a flimsy piece of wood.
