Four Paws and a Tail is a great store in Northtown Mall. When shopping for puppies, I've found that pet stores have a wider variety of puppies and know details about the different breeds. They can help you find a good fit for your family.The staff was very helpful as I decided on a large breed dog, and they were able to tell me what it would be like raising one. The store is clean, the staff is knowledgeable, and it's obvious that the puppies are well cared-for.I highly recommend Four Paws and a Tail, and suggest that, if you want good selection and healthy pups, you visit them.

This place sold me a really sick puppy. I bought the puppy the last Friday of February 2017 at around 7:30. I had to rush the puppy to the animal hospital right away the morning of Sunday because nothing else was open. My puppy has a parasite that is highly contagious, ammonia that the veterinarian is sure was from kennel cough that wasn't treated properly, and a possible intestine blockage. The manager of the store wanted me to just give the puppy back after we spent almost 1,000 dollars at the vet. We were also told they would pay for the puppy but not the vet bills. I asked them to get the other dogs checked because of coarse the parasite and kennel cough is very contagious. The lady got rude and told us that the dogs were fine and she wasn't going to check them. I called the veterinarian that we were told they use and found out that the only time any of those puppies get checked out is when they first arrive at the store. No other time and even then its a fast inspection of the dogs because there is so many of them. The veterinarian could easily miss something. If you pick up a puppy from there be prepared to possibly pay another couple grand on the puppy for pet bills.
