The Arc of Camden County is a private, nonprofit organization that offers community-based services for people who suffer from developmental disabilities. Founded in 1947, the organization operates a rehabilitation facility that provides vocational evaluation and work adjustment training services. The Arc of Camden County also offers adult training services for the development of daily living, communication, social, habilitation and community integration skills. It has an occupational training center that offers job placement and extended and supported employment services. The Arc of Camden County operates several residential programs that provide housing opportunities in apartment and group home settings. The organization also offers community integration programs and is an affiliate of The Arc, which is a national organization for people with mental disorders.
