VCOM Office of Financial Aid provides loans, scholarship awards and grants to students of the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. The office provides information on scholarships provided by the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine that includes the Cornwell Bireley Scholarship Fund, Friends to Optometrists Scholarship Fund, Appalachian Virginia Service Scholarship and Margaret Palmieri Rural Health Scholarship. VCOM Office of Financial Aid also assists students to obtain loans through the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). Additionally, it administers the VCOM Financial Aid Counseling Program, which allows students to attend individual and group sessions to discuss their educational debt load and repayment options.
