Rented for 2 years with no problems

I read many of the reviews on the web about Noonkester but decided to give it a try since they were all mush older. He hasn't changed. The property that we moved into was filthy. Not just a bit of dirt here or there or cobwebs in the corners, I mean filthy. There was food splatter in the walls, the baseboards has dust crusted onto them, all of the bathtubs had soap scum on them, the oven had cleaner left in it, the windows were dirty, etc etc etc. Then there's the maintenance. It's is like pulling teeth to have maintenance done. A leak took several days to respond to. Maintenance projects have been started and never finished.

why move in the house if its trashed fool scott is good and helped me

WORST LANDLORD IN THE UNIVERSE! When we moved in our house it was filthy, filled with trash and cigarette buds all over the lawn and house, there were dead bugs and dirt in all of the windows, there was a mice problem, half of the windows and doors wouldn't lock, the grass was over a foot long (and he wouldn't cut it), he pays for NO utilities, he wouldn't fix ANY of our problems, half of our electrical sockets didn't work, half of the doors didn't close, he wouldn't install a smoke detector! we lived in a broken-down house!!! The house was literally falling apart! He was extremely rude!!!!!!!! He overprices his crappy apartments and houses, and does NOTHING to help the tenants. I had to move out before the lease was even over!! DO NOT RENT FROM SCOTT NOONKESTER IN THE NEW RIVER VALLEY AREA! Just read the rest of the reviews.... tens of HORRIBLE experiences!!

Very rude. Terrible customer service by Scott Noonkester. Secretary was polite but a return call from the company's namesake resulted in being, literally, condescendingly laughed at for my inquiries. I wanted to see a house that I was seriously considering renting but was told I was wasting the man's time strictly because I told him I MIGHT not move to the area for a few more months. When I informed him that it may be possible that I could move sooner and I still wanted to see the house, he continued to act as if I was an annoyance. I DO NOT reccommend this company.
