I just took my daughter Chelsea to have pictures taken at Clix for the second time. Another wonderful experience. Cassie, the photgrapher, took us straight back. Gave me all the time in the world to dress my daughter in her outfit and then of course asked what kind of background I wanted, etc. My daughter being 1 wasnt exactly staying still and was trying to get into everything ,but the photographer managed to get some very good pictures in between scooping her back up and putting her where she was suppossed to be. I like the fact that they take so many pictures to choose from because you are bound to find alot that are good and what you are looking for.Waiting for a camera to be lowered and raised isnt an issue here because they hold the cameras and get fabulous pictures alot quicker. I also bought the Clix club membership that made my order cheaper than what it would have been had I not bought it and it is good for two years!! The people there are genuinely friendly and really like their job. Ive been to many other places where the people seem aggravated and rushed and run off everytime the phone rings . I always have had convenient appointment times and got in the next day after calling to make my appointment.After choosing the poses I wanted, my pictures were ready in 15 mintues on very nice thick photograph paper, cut and put in plastic in a nice envelope ready to take home. When I first got to Clix for my appointment, they took us right back to the studio to take the pictures, which is great when you have a 7 month old . They were very attentive and asked what I wanted or was interested in. It didnt take very long to get some very nice pictures.I liked the fact that the photographer held the camera in her hand and was able to get into postitions quickly to catch the best shots, thus eliminating a camera on a tripod to be lowered and lifted, wasting time. The studio is HUGE compared to the other studios here in Blacksburg. I would defintely recommend this studio for a family simply because you can fit a group without being smushed together. I will defintely go back to take my childrens pictures here again.
