Valley Springs Youth Ranch is a residential care facility that offers a variety of therapeutic services. It supports activities, such as horseback riding, fishing, trailblazing, baseball, volleyball, gardening, camping, canoeing and swimming. The facility provides treatment for substance abuse, depression, and behavioral and emotional disorders. Valley Springs Youth Ranch also handles career and grief counseling and family relationship issues. It administers the Valley Springs program, which provides behavior modification treatment for individuals between the ages of 10 and 18. The facility offers services through sexual perpetrators and victims groups. Valley Springs Youth Ranch additionally coordinates a behavior management program that utilizes a level system which rewards for positive and healthy behaviors.
