I went to the Gramophone years ago based on reputation, well times have changed. What they sold you a few years ago, and bragged about..they no longer sell. when asked "why the change"... I was told they sell what the public wants .... It also appears they tell you anything to make the sale... My recent purchase was a cd/dvd/player. They were informed of the power source I had, they promplty told me they no longer carry that brand. Thye then informed of a great deal on another brand, it was the last one, so I guess it's buyer beware ..When asked over and over again if the 2 pieces were compatable, they said "they thought so". I began going to the Gramophone because they were experts. Of course the 2 pieces didn't mesh and I lost a number of features from my power source. If he was an expert and didn't know, then he shouldn't be working there. Ih he is the expert, and did know ... then he just sold me!!!!! Perhaps it's my fault.... after all I went looking for advise.
