Provided by YP.comI had a heating and air unit put in and it was a reasonable competitive price. So no complaints there. I have even spoke to numerous friends and family members about our good fortune with the price. Then a few months later on fathers day our unit stopped working. A call was placed to them for a service call. Technician spent 20 minutes in the home changed the thermostat consisting of 4 wires and it all worked fine after that. The problem I have is this was a $192 service call. I understand it was on the weekend but the reasoning given was that drive time was calculated. I expected a bill of half what was charged. The technician lived in Jasper, the company is in Birmingham. It is not the customers problem or responsibility that the Technician lives an hour away. The travel time should be calculated and paid from the office and not passed along to the customer. At the very least the company should inform the customer of the exorbitant cost of a service call and how they are calculated.
