Maintaining a location in Birmingham, Ala., SportPlex has a staff of certified instructors and personal trainers. Its facilities include more than 50 pieces of cardio computerized machines, locker rooms, circuit training machines, racquetball courts and indoor track. The center also offers group exercises programs, yoga sessions, whirlpool and sauna, and training and spin classes. SportPlex provides a variety of services, such as supervised child care, professional instruction, fitness testing and one-on-one personal training. In addition, the center organizes a range of member parties and special events. Additionally, SportPlex provides children program that includes a variety of play and educational activities.
