Originally from Montgomery, Alabama he attended college at the University of Alabama, where he graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences studying Communications and Political Science. Slade then attended and graduated from Samford University - Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. Slade was a summer associate at Goldasich, Vick & Fulk and gained significant experience working on catastrophic personal injury, product liability cases, wrongful death, medical negligence, and other legal matters.
