You should be aware that most health insurance plans limit their coverage for mental health, however. Managed care plans require that you see a clinician from their local network and often exclude procedures and diagnostic categories from their benefit packages. We encourage you to become familiar with the benefits and exclusions of your particular plan, and to contact your insurance carrier's claims representative for questions about coverage.
