Neurologists

  DR. PAOLETTI is a fully trained and licensed physician, who has completed specialized training in general psychiatry and subspecialty training in pediatric psychiatry. He is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina and the University of Maryland. Dr. Paoletti is certified in general psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is an Active member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and several other professional organizations. He is currently serving as the President of the Alabama Regional Council of the AACAP.
• Autism
  For minors and adults presenting primarily with social-communication difficulties, complete the Australian Scale for Asperger or the Autism Quotient Test, respectively.

  Should you wish to use your insurance for reimbursement, we will do our best to help you learn about your health care plan. You should be aware that most health insurance plans limit their coverage for mental health, however. Managed care plans require that you see a clinician from their local network and often exclude procedures and diagnostic categories from their benefit packages. We encourage you to become familiar with the benefits and exclusions of your particular plan, and to contact your insurance carrier's claims representative for questions about coverage.

  In all but few rare situations, your privacy is protected by state law and the ethical code of psychiatry. For minors who are mature enough to come unaccompanied by their parents to the clinic, confidentiality of information disclosed during their examination and treatment is respected.
