Just left the UHS Walk-In Center Chenango Bridge. I was working out of town from my primary care physician and had a sore throat of 3 days duration. Agonizingly painful and unresponsive to any NSAIDS I tried to take. I had difficulty sleeping it was so painful. Decided to try this place as a walk in in the hope I'd get some relief. Check in was easy, the support staff were very pleasant. However, when I saw Dr Nash, the care I received was sub par. After the medical assistant took a very detailed, careful history, Dr Nash consulted none of this before the exam I received. He asked no questions and performed a physical that lasted about 3 minutes total before concluding that there was nothing that could be done for me. I asked what I should do for pain control and he suggested I take ibuprofen. If he had read any of the notes the medical assistant had taken he would have seen I had already tried that. He then suggested sucking on ice cubes or popsicles which sound both perfectly
