I got my dog Beethoven 1st at allen's, he was a black lab really nice dog just a puppy when i got him, I found that my kids and I really loved him. I found the dog to be in great condition when I got him. I could have gotten him at a shelter but I preferred to get him at Allens he was the only puppy left at the time. I knew he was the right dog as soon as I saw him and I looked at several different places. I found he wasn't a neverous dog and very loveable, I credit that to the Vet himself. If I thought the dog wasn't well cared for I wouldn't have exposed the dog to my kids. I found the dog to be a wonderful addition to our family. I wanted a puppy to train as a guard dog for our family and home. I found that the labs are great for families and for protection. .
We purchased our dog from here and have never been happier. They were great to us and our son. We had to put our previous dog to sleep after 15 years. Everyone at Allen's was terrific. Our puppy is now 7 years old and she has never been to another vet hospital. We found them to be great people. You won,t be disappointed.
I read the other review and decided I had to comment. I have been taking my pets (2dogs and 2cats) here for 7 years. Never had a bad experience. Wonderful, caring people. I don't know what happened with the person above, but I always go with my pets into the exam room and they have never had an issue with it. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!!!!

Would not let me stay with my dog for routine treatment. Treated dog rudely by pulling with full force on leash to get him to follow when simply letting me come along would have kept the dog calm, and he would have gladly followed. Then the vet performed procedures on my dog while he was "in back" that were not discussed with me, and that I had not given permission for them to perform. I am thinking about pressing charges. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS HOSPITAL.
