Luanne Stencil CRNA owner of LCS Anesthesia Staffing Services, Inc. provides anesthesia care for our surgical procedures, which are done in our accredited AAAHC plastic surgical suite. Luanne is a graduate of the University of Michigan Program in Nurse Anesthesia with a Masters of Science degree. She is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Although CRNAs are qualified professional providers of all types of anesthesia services in all settings, “LCS†specializes in office-based anesthesia for plastic surgical procedures. To date she has provided over 8000 IV sedation anesthetics for office-based surgeries. IV sedation is the administration of sedatives and pain relieving medications through an intravenous (IV) line to help relieve anxiety and discomfort during surgical procedures. IV sedation allows patients to have a pleasant, comfortable sleep during their surgery. Our patients awaken in the recovery room with little or no discomfort and nausea is very rare. Most patients are in recovery for about an hour prior to discharge. IV sedation is very safe when given by qualified anesthesia professionals. During surgery, the CRNA closely monitors the patients breathing, blood pressure, pulse, EKG and blood oxygen level. They are certified in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). A couple of days before surgery, the CRNA contacts our patients by telephone to review health history and discuss the anesthetic plan. It is important that patients provide a complete and accurate health history so that the CRNA can plan the best anesthetic care. This health history should include medical concerns, medications, allergies, recreational drug or alcohol use and previous anesthesia experience. Patients are encouraged to follow all pre-operative instructions and ask questions if clarification is needed on any aspect of the anesthetic plan. Candidates for IV sedation for office surgery must be 16 years of age or older and in good general health. Younger patients and those patients with minor or moderate medical problems under good control will be considered on an individual basis. Patients will be required to obtain medical clearance from an internist or specialist if warranted due to their medical condition. After surgery, the CRNA contacts our patients by phone within 24 hours to monitor response to the anesthetic and answer any questions about their anesthetic experience. • Ear Surgery
  Incisions are made along the back of the ears. A strip of skin is removed from behind the ears. Normal ear contour is formed either by suturing and/or excising the excess cartilage. The ears are not exactly symmetrical before or after your ear surgery.

• Botox
  Botox® Cosmetic is a purified toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Botox® Cosmetic, in extremely small doses, is injected into the specific muscles that cause frown lines, forehead crease, and wrinkles near the outside corner of the eyes (crows’ feet). Within days there’s a noticeable improvement of the lines in the areas injected. Botox® Cosmetic will not radically change your facial appearance or make you look as if you had work done.

• Eyelid Surgery
  Upper eyelid surgery is performed with an incision in a skin fold and removal of the extra skin. Sometimes a little fat is removed to make the lid look less heavy.
• Liposuction
  Fat transfer used to enhance and sculpt the body is a great way to slim down one area of your body and enhance the other. During a body fat transfer, fat is removed via liposuction from a donor area and processed. Once the fat is processed, it will be injected into an area that the patient would like to shape or enhance.
• Breast Augmentation
  Breast augmentation near Dearborn and West Bloomfield is performed to increase the size and fullness of the breasts. Uneven breast sizes may also be improved by the use of different volumes in each breast implants. The exact size of the breast cannot be guaranteed.   Yes. Fat transfer to the breast is done most commonly in situations of breast reconstruction after cancer removal. Fat can also be transferred to the breast for purposes of cosmetic augmentation. However, the size increase with fat grafting augmentation is less predictable than with an implant.
