Caddo Electric Cooperative is a private, independent electrical business established to provide at-cost electric service to its consumer-owners. It is a distribution cooperative that delivers electricity. Caddo is also involved in community development and revitalization projects, such as small business development, improvement of rural water and sewer systems and assistance in delivery of health care and educational services and in home purchasing loans. It serves more than 15,500 meters, which utilize more than 4,000 miles of line. It services eight counties in Oklahoma, which include Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Comanche, Custer, Grady, Kiowa and Washita. The company maintains headquarters in Binger, Okla. Caddo Electric Cooperative has been in business since March 1937.
