Absolute the worst Veterinary clinic I have ever experienced! I have had dogs my entire life and have had great experiences at all of the other veterinary clinics in the Gorge, but Alpine is the far worst I have ever experienced! The staff are rude to their patients (dogs and owners). They treated my dog poorly. They are inflexible with their schedules and turn away animals in emergencies. I will NEVER attend this clinic EVER again. Please don't allow you or your animal to be mistreated by Alpine. All of the other clinics in the gorge are very welcoming and will fit your animal in for an appointment, usually the same day you call.

This review is long overdue, and very deserved. I have been taking my dog to Dr. Vance/Alpine Veterinary Hospital for the 16 years that I had him. Dr. Vance successfully treated my rescued dog Satchmo's chronic mange over the course of three years, treating both Satchmo and me with empathy and respect. Alpine continued all of Satchmo's well-visits, vaccinations, and preventative treatment, later treated his arthritis, diagnosed his Giardia and intestinal tract issues, and ultimately the caring staff at AVH, especially Amy, were with us when it came time to put our beloved member of our family down after 16 years. The entire staff at AVH went through our dogs' whole life journey with us, from joyful beginning to heartbreaking end, and everything in between, with care, love, and empathy. They are wonderful. I have to say, most importantly, Satchmo LOVED going to his vet. That is amazing. He was so excited everytime he arrived there, everytime he saw Dr. Vance. That is the best kudo!
