Do not go to this Doctor!!! He nearly killed my baby boy. He made my wife have a repeat Caesarean and would not let her go into labor so as to be sure the baby was ready. We knew how full-term babies looked with her after having had two. He told her, "I will cut you up and down instead of low transverse, I will not let your husband in the delivery room, and I will knock you out while you deliver if you go into labor!!"
Our baby was NOT ready just as we kept trying to tell him. He came out and promptly turned blue. They had to air lift him to Ochsner to save his life. He was 5 weeks early, had transient tachypnea, and underdeveloped (wet) lungs. After two weeks and being brought back to life three times, he came home. Dr. Diaz hid from us and would not even see or speak to us on the phone. I never once thought of suing him but I know he thought I would because he knew he had just given a perfect example of mal-practise. Unscrupulous man.

I went to Dr. Diaz with horrific uterine bleeding that had dominated over half of my life. I had tried many solutions- birth control, injections, biodentical hormones, natural medicine, supplements, diet changes, etc.- and I was still bleeding to death. It was a humiliating and difficult problem. I was received by her staff with complete warmth and kindness. They were compassionate. Dr. Diaz gave me several options and was factual about what I could actually do to resolve my issue permanently. I never felt pressured or judged- only supported. In the end, I decided to have a hysterectomy, and I was very pleased with the care I received. I am so glad I found this clinic and will highly recommend it to my friends. From the nurses to the doctor to the billing department, I have nothing but positive things to say. Dr. Diaz was a God-sent for me. I truly believe she cares about her patients and wants the best for them.

Side note: Many of these reviews are about another Dr. Diaz who is a man. He does not work at this clinic. Dr. Hebe A. Diaz is a female physician that works at this location and runs a practice separately from Dr. Albert Diaz.

My first pregnancy was awkward with her. She tried to have her husband deliver my baby but I declined! Guess she was too busy to come deliver her she got there in the last minutes of delivery after 9 hours of labor. I'm on my second baby and wanted to keep her as the doctor. I owe a bit of money for a service she did that left an ugly scar on my leg and could've been cared for at home for $20.. I offered a payment plan but the office wouldn't accept and would not see me. All they care about is MONEY. Not the baby's wellbeing. I'll have to find a different doctor. It's a shame.

I have been going to dr Diaz for 12 years and my mom has been going for 35 years! He delivered my brother and I. He's performed numerous surgeries for me and is my doctor now for my first pregnancy. He has a wonderful bedside manner, is very knowledgable, takes special time to answer all your questions, and most importantly to me he listens!!! That's rare for some doctors these days. I wouldn't have anyone else deliver this baby :)

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! He made the day I gave birth the worst day of my life!!! I gave birth naturally with no meds. The first thing he did was make smart %#* comments about how that was a stupid idea. While giving birth he told me to "keep it down" saying that I was being to loud for him. Then after giving birth he came back into my room with a group of people, lifted my shirt, started very roughly poking around on my stomach, then pinched my stomach and held a fun size candy bar that was sitting on the table up to my stomach and in more or less words told me I was fat....remember now this is a few hours after i gave birth to my first child. This is a horrble nasty man. Save yourself from him. Do not go to this doctor...it is a mistake! I wish I had never met this man. He ruined the day I gave birth. It's been 5 years sence then and I still lay awake at night crying because of this.

Dr. Diaz is the most compassionate and kind doctor I have ever know. She truly cares for her patients. If you are looking for a female OB, you found her! 5 stars is an understatement!!
