Founded in 2002, Biloxi Junior High School offers classes from grades kindergarten through nine. The school enrolls more than 1,000 students and is governed by Biloxi Public School District. It offers a wide range of subjects, including English, math, science, history, social science, visual and performing arts, vocational education, consumer science, physical education and elective options. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes and supports various school events and programs. Biloxi Junior High School also operates various clubs and provides a variety of extracurricular activities, such as band and builders club, cheerleaders, National Junior Honor Society, sports, strings, student council, and Technology Student Association. Located in Biloxi, Miss., the school has a fully equipped library, a media center, a cafeteria, and a computer lab.
