Park's Martial Arts has been serving the Billings area for more than 30 years-Led by Grand master Suk B. Park. Master Park is a 9th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and an 8th Degree Black Belt in Judo and has been involved in martial arts for more than 50 years. Park's offers great programs for kids age 5 and up, men, women and families. Whether you are looking for a place to get in shape, help your kids with self-confidence and discipline, have an activity for the whole family or have always wanted to get a Black Belt-we have classes and a program for you. At Park's Martial Arts you will get both mental and physical training that will help you and your kids in everyday life. Through Martial Arts Training, You Will Develop: *Courtesy *Humility *Integrity *Perseverance *Self Control *Indomitable Spirit Self-Defense: The techniques of the Martial Arts were developed on ancient battle fields. By returning from battle alive and healthy, warriors proved the effectiveness of their techniques. In today's world, while teaching a person to defend themselves in a safe and effective manner, we emphasize the mental control and restraint necessary in the use of potentially dangerous force. *Strikes (kicking and punching) for long-range self-defense. *Grappling and striking (elbows and knees) for close-range and ground defense-90% of all fights end up on the ground. *Controlling techniques can subdue and attacker without causing any injury to them. Mental Discipline: The mind needs to learn discipline as well as the body. Students of the Martial Arts will develop better goal-setting skills, positive mental attitudes, and a positive self image, as well as: *Better listening and thinking skills *Longer attention span *Better grades in school *Increased mental and physical awareness Tae Kwon Do "Foot and Fist Technique" is a Korean variation of karate that uses kicks as well as hand strikes. Especially well suited for self-defense in addition to sport application, this art d
