- Workers CompensationJohn grew up in Billings, Montana. He graduated cum laude from the University of Wyoming in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Following graduation, John worked for the U.S. Senate. He then attended the University of Nebraska College of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate with a Litigation Concentration and a Certificate in Pro Bono Service. During law school, John worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney's Office, Yellowstone County Attorney's Office, and the Nebraska Department of Administrative Services. In addition, John worked for Judge L. Steven Grasz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Eighth Circuit. John capped off law school serving as a volunteer in Yellowstone County's Indian Child Welfare Court and as a student prosecutor in the College of Law's Criminal Clinic. John is admitted to practice law in Montana's state and federal courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In the summer of 2022, John joined the Brown Law Firm, where his primary practice areas include civil litigation, workers' compensation, and employment law. John is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Montana, Yellowstone Area Bar Association, Montana Defense Trial Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
