Katie Borges started her career as a paramedic in rural Florida in 2001. After 5 years of the prehospital setting she returned to nursing school and worked as a pediatric intensive care nurse for a decade. In 2011 she earned a masters degree from the University of California, San Francisco and became a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. In 2018, she completed a post-masters certificate program at the University of Massachusetts, Boston and earned her certification as a family nurse pract
