While I expected a great experience out on the Boulder learning to fly fish, I got that in the scenery and the solitude of that river. the instructor, Steve, the owner, could stand a lesson of his own about how to relate and showing some character and integrity. Within the first two sentences after getting in his truck, the f-word was used twice. He continued to use rather colorful language the rest of our 4 hours. He probably knows his stuff about angling, but he has a lot to learn about relating to people and choosing to use more intelligent language when instructing and conversing. I give the river and scenery a 5. Unfortunately Steve and his method of communicating gets a 2. His instruction a 4(I did catch a rainbow).

Steve does a great job working with novice anglers. He knows the river like the back of his hand and is a wealth of information about the region. I am planning my next trip. Kevin Sullivan - Chesapeake, VA
