Remmele Engineering began in 1949 as a tool and die business with two employees. The company has since grown to more than 500 employees in four facilities in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. Remmele organizes its services in two divisions. The Contract Manufacturing division in New Brighton, Minn., provides supply chain management, assembly, precision machining and design services for the aerospace, defense, medical and semiconductor industries. Its Custom Equipment division in St. Paul, Minn., offers web processing, assembly, packaging, filling and engineering services for the drug delivery, medical devices and energy storage markets. The company maintains four ISO 9001:2000 facilities, including one in Big Lake, Minn.
