We drove by Homestead By the River family Campground 13 yrs ago. I made my husband stop. It was off season. We were greeted by a wonderful, sweet man named George. Although off season he showed us around and told us of available sites and possible ones. I feel in love with the place. It was clean, and well maintained even as I said off season. We have been there ever since. It is a wonderful place for children. i never had a concern for them as they played. The owners know who are at their campground at all times. security is their concern for everyone.I have never seen a campground bathroom so clean! I have seen how hard they work to keep them that way. powerwashing them. They constantly are mowing, raking, updating and helping their guests. they truely care about their guests. Stop by and say hello. you will love it . your kids will love the animals too.
