Robert Johnson was able to come out on short notice to assess a foundation for a second story. I was told the inspection would take a couple of hours and would give us a definitive answer on what would be required to get the foundation in shape of a second story. Bob Johnson arrived late, took a look around, and left early, telling us the exact same thing that the home inspector did (that it MIGHT be a problem). He did no testing, no digging, nothing but a visual inspection. In short, he could have given his report based on what I told him over the phone. He even had the nerve to ask for the home inspectors report so that he could take the details from that. $600 and an hour later I had no new information. I seriously considered demanding having them send another engineer to ACTUALLY inspect the property, and tell me something I didn't already know, but couldn't afford the risk to my credit score. I definitely do not recommend doing business with this company.
