Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, nice flow in the restaurant, outstanding sushi, edamame beans, salad dressing is my favorite and even the green tea , coconut or red bean ice cream, fried bananas and chocolate sauce for desert (If you have any room left) Always good karma and a wonderful ritual of enjoying great sushi.

Sushi was o.k., not the best I've ever had. All in our party were unimpressed.

Service was painfully slow. (I like relaxed service, but not unattentive). We will not be returning.

Excellent sushi & maki mono. Brown rice option is unique & adds wonderful flavor and texture. Try it

I've been going to Kame since they opened the doors. Excellent food, excellent service, reasonable prices, and a comfortable room--it's easy to become a regular if for no other reason than the experience is so inviting. Try etemame (steamed fresh soy beans) while you're waiting for the main course. I've become partial to the maki mono made with brown rice. I've never seen it served elsewhere, and I suppose purists will say it's not authentic. Well after enjoying the best sushi I've been able to find all over the world (including in Japan) I can say that authentic or not, it is a welcome addition to the cuisine. It adds a subtle nutty flavor to the maki mono and a slight crunch that works so well with many combinations. In particular, the Alaska, California, and Irish rolls are outstanding with the brown rice but, frankly, I like it will all of the combinations. Also if you've not dared to try eel before, this is a good place to brave the unknown. Chances are good that you'll love it.
