Shervin Molayem, D.D.S. comes from a long line of family dentists. From a young age, his grandfather, a prominent general dentist, instilled a strong work ethic and love of dentistry in him. For this reason, he pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry after graduating from UCLA with his bachelors degree.Upon graduation, he received the Nathan A. Styrt Scholarship Award, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity presidents plaque and Award of Excellence by the IADA for his promotion of diversity and community outreach programs. While pursuing his passion for surgery and dental implants, Shervin was accepted into a three-year specialty program for periodontics, dental implants and reconstructive surgery at USC School of Dentistry.As the founder of the UCLA and USC Journals of Dental Research, he has conducted extensive research in the field of dental implants.He has also presented his research nationally and lectured internationally.Dr. Molayem is a member of the following organizations:American Dental Association (ADA)California Dental AssociationAlpha Omega Dental FraternityAmerican Academy of PeriodontologyAmerican Academy of Osseointegration
