Dr. Markzar graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a bachelors degree in biology and biochemistry. He then continued his education at the USC School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery and Oral Medicine. After he graduated, he completed postgraduate work in advanced periodontology, oral implantology, and surgery at USC. But Dr. Markzar did not stop there. Because he wanted to learn more about the skull and facial bone structure in order to better inform his surgical decisions, he earned a Master of Science degree in craniofacial biology from USC.Many patients want to know about our office and what we have to offer at Beverly Hills Periodontal Arts and Implants. Caring, patient and truly an exceptional doctor

Dr. Markzar is one of the most gentle, caring and wonderful doctor i have yet to been too. Him and his staff were great in answering all of my questions, scheduling appoitments that worked with my busy work schedule and fantastic in adressing my concerns/ any questions I had. I would recommend Dr. Markzar and his staff to anyone looking for a creative and wonderful periodontist.

The greatest oral surgeon you could have to manage your oral care needs and create a gorgeous smile.

I have been a pt of Dr. Markzar for over 1 year and he has most recently managed a tooth implant in the front of my mouth which is amazing. He is a true artist when it comes to the cosmetic dental work but more importantly he is a genuinely kind, caring professional who ALWAYS has that extra bit of time to explain the procedure and how to best care for the procedure. In addition to his amazing work, his staff is absolutely the most caring and professional group of individuals as well.
