He began his career at DJ Freeman in London. He was a partner for many years at a leading U.S. firm, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, and spent three years as an international tax partner of KPMG LLP. On November 1, 2005, Fabienne Struell, a California attorney who was also admitted in France, became Of Counsel to the firm. Michael has particular experience in structuring international businesses and finance transactions, advising on cross-border taxation, tax treaties, withholding taxes and the taxation of e-business and planning international trusts and estates. Fabienne has extensive experience in international business and corporate law matters, both inbound into and outbound from the United States, as well as in real estate investment.
