General Info
Adolescents in crisis need a safe, secure, caring environment where their condition can be stabilized and they can be protected from harming themselves. Also located in the Behavioral Health Science Center, our 13-bed unit is bright, cheerful and specially designed to make adolescents feel at home. At the same time, we are equipped to protect and care for adolescents with a serious mental health crisis. Medical care is provided by the LVHN Children’s Hospital staff. Our program treats patients from age 12 to 18, utilizing an interdisciplinary treatment team, including a school teacher – all highly skilled and dedicated to the special needs of teens. For visitation information, contact the adolescent psychiatric unit at 484-884-6408. Learn more about behavioral health programs at Lehigh Valley Health Network. ,
