- GlaucomaGlaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve that is most often associated with high pressure inside the eye- Intraocular Pressure (IOP)- that damages the nerve and causes progressive loss of vision. In the United States, there are more than three million people with glaucoma. The most common form, Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (POAG) begins without any symptoms or obvious loss of vision. With early detection, diagnosis, and treatment, in the vast majority of cases, glaucoma vision loss can be controlled or prevented. It is critical to diagnose and treat glaucoma as early as possible through regular eye exams to prevent vision loss.

- CataractsThis is called Posterior Capsule Opacification (PCO) and is sometimes called a “secondary cataract” or “scar tissue.” With YAG Laser Capsulotomy, we make an opening in the cloudy capsule and allow light to pass through again for clear vision.
- Cataract SurgeryYAG Laser Capsulotomy is a quick painless laser treatment that you might need sometime after cataract surgery. It helps you see clearly if your vision becomes cloudy again. When you have cataract surgery, we remove your eye’s cloudy lens and replace it with a clear, artificial intraocular lens (IOL). The IOL is held in place in the eye’s natural lens capsule. Weeks, months, or years later, this capsule can become cloudy or wrinkled, causing blurry vision.
- Eye ExamIf you are developing a cataract or already have cataracts you may experience symptoms such as a clouding or blurring of your vision and perhaps feel that you might need a change of eyeglasses. You may notice that it is not as easy to see well and comfortably in dim illumination, such as for night driving. You may notice that colors look faded and you may be bothered by glare, haloes, light sensitivity, and a continuing decrease in your vision. These are the visual symptoms that are common for those patients whose crystalline lens has clouded and formed a cataract. If you are experiencing one or more of these symptoms please be sure to let your eye doctor know at your eye exam.
- BotoxBOTOX® Injections can dramatically improve your facial wrinkles. During the BOTOX® Injection procedure, a small amount of BOTOX® is injected directly into the individual facial muscles that are responsible for creating wrinkles in the overlying skin. By weakening those muscles and preventing the pulling on the skin BOTOX® Cosmetic helps to diminish the wrinkles. The actual BOTOX® Injections take only minutes to administer, and noticeable results can usually be seen within two to eight days. Our patients can return to work and wear makeup immediately after treatment.
