Established in 1953, Mars Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 300 students pre-kindergarten through school grade two. The school offers a variety of activities to promote social, emotional, physical and academic growth. It provides occupational, physical and speech therapies. Mars Elementary School s curriculum focuses on the foundational concepts of reading, writing and mathematics. The school also conducts classes in history, social studies and science. Its teaching strategies include hands-on experiences and educational field trips. Mars Elementary School s staff is comprised of secretaries, paraprofessionals, counselors, nurses, therapists and support staff.
