Provided by YP.comI have been going to Dollar General for years. I live in Southwest MI, and I frequently go to the Stevensville and Saint Joseph stores. However, I live in Berrien Springs. I just recently made up my mind not to return to the DG store in Berrien Springs. The only word I can attach to this store is catastrophy. For several months now, the store has been under new management. I will say that the gentleman running, or should I say attempt to run, is a very nice pleasant person. He always is amicable and acknowledges you when you come in the store. But...I hate when there is a but...but the store is a horrible mixed up mess. the end caps are full of anything and everything that does not relate to each other. The shelves are either empty or filled to the max, as though someone literally threw it on the shelf. The floors are dirty, with merchandise flung here and there. There is boxes everywhere; obviously with nobody to be able to attend to them. It's awful, to the point of actually feeling sorry for this store manager. I wish I knew what the problem is. It seems like lack of help. I simply don't know, but none the less I won't be back. It's more expensive than the Family Dollar store right down the road. I do know my prices, because I've patronized both stores, and even though I'm not giving up on the DG stores elsewhere, I'm done with the one in my own hometown. It's almost nerve racking when you go through the doors, because you are having to try and find things, that aren't in the proper place. I feel bad saying that I won't no longer patronize a store, but they simply need to get their act together, or I won't be there only customer that has gotten tired of their havoc, and I'm not a complaining person, but someone needs to fix that store, period.
