Located in Berrien Springs, Mich., Blossomland Learning Center provides comprehensive programs and therapeutic services for students with multiple requirements. Its functional curriculum emphasizes skills, competencies and orientations that are required for living a supervised settting. Blossomland Learning Center operates as a separate special education program and serves those students who, as determined by their individualized education plans, require placement in a facility outside of the traditional school setting. It offers therapies, such as music, occupational, physical and speech. Its physical education activities include kick ball, floor hockey, basketball, soccer, individual sports, bicycling and track and field. It offers swimming lessons at pre-beginner, beginner and intermediate levels.
