General Info
Romance And The Enchantment Of A Place Time Forgot. I carried the dream of owning a small farm with me for nearly a decade all over the world, and now I get to live on one and share it. This place has a special magic all its own and each day I am here, I sleep better and feel more alive and peaceful. Welcome to Wildflower Farm: where the glow bugs haunt the edge of the woods, and the goats wander on the hill; where the chickens chatter in their coop, and the gardens thrive under the beautiful New England Sun. Wildflower Farm, is a special place. We are very very small and highly exclusive as a venue for events, or simply as a place to stay. We host no more than one party at a time. This allows us to completely focus on the comfort of our guests. This way we make a stay at the farm a very special experience. Located in the tiny little New England Town of Berlin MA, in Metro West, just into Central MA, we have a great location. We are less than an hour to Boston and all it holds, and closer than that to most of the best history in the region. We are also only about 1 hour from the coast and places like Newburyport and the Plum Island beach. Travelling in another direction, we are also only about 1 hour from New Hampshire mountains, and half an hour to skiing at Wachusett. We are close to hiking and mountain biking trails, horse back riding, and to other beautiful and often far larger farms that shine beautifully in the daylight and offer small shops for those seeking healthy farm goods. This is a picturesque town of forests, fields, farms, small rolling hills, and orchards. This is apple country where people come to pick the apples, then come again to enjoy the beautiful autumn foliage. They come in winter to enjoy winter sports in the day and to sit by the wood stove in the evening. In the summer, guests enjoy the gardens and animals. Some may even get to meet our baby goats if they are here at the right time. There is a great deal to do in the area, and our beautiful, small farm is a wonderful location to explore from. This is a great place for anyone to visit; it appeals to romantics, agricultural explorers, people traveling for work, those dropping their children off at any one of the plethora of universities within an hour of us, and to those just looking for a bit of fun or a brief escape from quotidian life. You will probably be greeted first by our barn cat Heidi, and upon entering the house, the farm dogs will be waiting to greet you warmly. This is a very family-style place to stay, and we know you will love Wildflower Farm as much as we do. Welcome.
