Famous for their deep dish pizza and holding three locations in Alameda County, Zachary's pizza lives up to the hype. The deep dish has perfect crust, huge tomatoes and the perfect amount of cheese; others pizzas are recommended as well, plus a salad to start with is always good. Always bustling, especially on Saturday and Sunday nights, it is recommended to call in at least an hour before you want to pick up the pizza, as the line may be busy and repeated dialing may be necessary. Additionally, don't be surprised if you have to wait up to an hour if you are eating at the restaurant's. It is worth the wait to eat there though--famous drawings/paintings adorn the walls altered to include a Zachary's pizza somehow. Some are quite professional while others garner much 'ohhs' at admiration of young children's cute work.
